Sean,

I really like your books. Do you have an emailer list I can get on so that I can hear more about the 6 decisions?

A phrase and my comment of the book

Tuesday, May 29th, 2007

Hardly I am thirteen years old, but the book has severred much to me..with saying that it uses it in values class not to make the typicla representation of the adict to x sustance.

The phrase is of Quino, the creator of Mafalda, is “you do not cry so the sun is hidden, so that your tears will prevent to see stars you”. My mother and me loves this phrase (Sorry, but my english not very good, ’cause I use a traslator)

Dates

Thursday, May 24th, 2007

A lot of the time the big worry about date dances or big group dates is who your going to get asked by or who you are going to ask. I’m here to tell you that the funnest dates i have been on are the ones with my best friends not the most attractive guy out there. When you go on a date with someone you’ve known for a long time you have so much more to talk about and silences are not akward, but on a date with someone you hardly know…attractive or not…the silences tend to be a little akward. i’m not saying that you should ONLY date your friends, but get to know the guy or girl a little before you take them out. They could be completely different from what you’re expecting.

lets make a deal?

Thursday, May 24th, 2007

Me and my boyfriend made a deal. if i stop cutting then he’ll stop dipping, smoking and drinking. do u think thats fair? well, he says he’s only doing it for me. & i tell him that he should really be doing it for himself. but he isnt up for that. i dont know but i’m sure that i’m not only going to stop cutting for him but for my self, friends and family.

Good Book for High School Students

Thursday, May 24th, 2007

I think that this book is an excellent book for all high school students to read.  I read it my senior year and it taught me a lot about life.  I wish that i would have read it sooner and tried to live by it.  It really relates to teens and what really happens in there life.  It is an over all good book.  I am really glad that i chose to read it.

6 Decisions

Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007

I think that this book was a great way to get information on, as they say, the six most important decisions you’ll ever make. It points out many things that you may  never think about that may be a large factor in your life. You have to decide how to be and what you want people to see you as.

This book would be a great book for people to read who are starting into their freshman or sophomore year. It is an easy read that really gets you to understand some of the little things, and that you shouldn’t be making your life revolve around what other people say. It is a lot of help and a lot of information that really interested me. I recommend this book to everyone!!

True, Very True

Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007

After reading the dating section in the book, I found some of those “Red Flags” in my own relationship. The other person threatened with a lot of things and even at times said she would commit suicide if we broke up. I managed to get out of the relationship and am going to try a less serious approach to dating, where I do not get my hopes up with anyone. Life is too short to waste it in a bad relationship, thanks Sean.

My thoughts- blair emerick

Wednesday, May 23rd, 2007

I think that this was a well thought out book. It talks in depth about all the things that a student would want to know before entering the “big bad worl of high school.” (I know i would have) My favortie part about the book were the little comics and the quotes. I am very big on quotes in my life, and the ones in here really inspired me. I actually have one posted on my mirror in  my bathroom and I read it everyday and it brings a smile to my face. So I defiently recommend reading this book, but I would do it before you are a senior in high school like me. I would have like to have read this my freshamn year, I think it would have helped me better in high school, and prepareing for college

This book is a very informative and enlightening book that young teens and pre-teens will definitely learn from! The book goes over the most important decisions you’ll ever make about dating, friends, peer pressure and many other topics. I think it is good preparation for students that are going to enter high school. By reading this book they will likely make more informed decisions that will have better outcomes than if they had not read it.
