Gary joined FranklinCovey in 1999 where he has contributed to the company in areas of sales, marketing, content development, and organizational consulting. Prior to joining FranklinCovey, Gary has been an educator in both the public and private sectors. He has been involved with numerous programs ranging from conflict resolution to student empowerment, and was instrumental in the creation and development of the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens Student Success Guide and the Ultimate Activity Guide programs.
Gary has been a student of individual and organizational dynamics most of his life. He has successfully applied the principles he advocates in a variety of activities, ranging from a fulfilling family life to developing a positive school climate. Gary finds great satisfaction in teaching principles that empower people to govern themselves more harmoniously, and feels the power of the 7 Habits (the ability to develop a Principle-Centered learning environment) can profoundly improve everyone’s professional and personal life.
Gary’s interests include sports and singing. He was recognized nationally in athletics, specifically baseball. In the field of drama, Gary has performed various musicals and plays. Originally from Toronto, Gary lives in Canandaigua, New York with his four children.
